Buyers are often shown material that looks like proof but establishes something narrower than it appears. The distinction below is what makes an evidence request useful.

A certificate is only as useful as its scope. Five checks separate a meaningful document from a reassuring image.
| Named entity | Which legal entity is certified. A certificate held by a different company in the supply chain does not transfer to your supplier. |

Not everything is reasonable to request on day one, and not everything should wait until production. This is a workable sequence.

None of these prove bad faith on their own, but each is a reason to ask one more question before committing.

The first image is a production partner facility photo supplied by the site owner. The remaining images are ScentOEM product and packaging concepts. None of the images alone establishes ownership, certificate scope, capacity or suitability for a specific project.
Check five things: the exact legal entity named on the certificate, the scope of what is actually covered, the issuing body, the issue and expiry dates, and whether the certificate can be verified with the issuing body directly. A certificate covering a different entity or a different scope does not apply to your product.
Because certification claims are only meaningful with a named entity, a defined scope and a current validity date. Publishing them as general marketing statements would misrepresent what has been verified. Certificates are shown when current evidence is available for the exact scope in question.
Non-confidential evidence such as certificate scope, document availability and authorized product photos can generally be discussed at the inquiry stage. Confidential formulas, other buyers' artwork and named customer information are not shared, and your own confidential material should use a secure upload or NDA path.
Records relating to your own project, such as sample photos, packaging review images and applicable document scope, can be requested as part of project review. Material belonging to other buyers is not shared, which is the same protection applied to your project.
